I bought this light to enhance a framed piece of art work and it does exactly that.
I wasn't sure the halogen light would be favorable so consider that when buying this.
It was very easy to install. Another point to consider is the size of that picture your wanting to light. Ours was 23" by 17" and it accommodates it nicely. Any larger may be a problem. Good price and esay install works for me. -- got what I needed

innovative and well made, though plastic. easy to install. the light might be a bit dim in some situations, but works fine in a darker room such as we have. the light color is cold - works great with a b/w photo; may not with warm colors. -- wireless picture light

We just installed the light to illuminate a new painting in our dining area. It gives the right amount of lighting. What a deal this is! It's easy to install, is lightweight and is quite inexpensive. I would recommend this for illuminating paintings. -- Great light for paintings
